Ingredients
- 200 gm puffed rice (murmura/kurmura/muri/laiya) (4 cups)
- 100 gm peanut (1 cup)
- 100 gm roasted whole black gram (chana) (1 cup)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 pinch asafoetida (heeng)
- 3 sprigs cury leaves
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder/haldi
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon dry mango powder (amchoor)
- salt to taste

In the same hot oil add mustard seeds. When the seeds start spluttering, add asafoetida (heeng), curry leaves, green chillies, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Then add roasted black gram (roasted chana) and fried peanuts. Also add puffed rice (murmura) and mix well. Then add salt to taste and dry mango powder. Roast till murmura becomes crunchy.

Switch off the gas and allow it to cool down. Store in airtight container.
